![]() Shira Haas' Captain America 4 character first appeared in 1980's Incredible Hulk #256, and she's seen been speculated by some to be a possible Black Widow facsimile, filling for Sam Wilson the role Natasha Romanoff did for Steve Rogers. The only completely new character in the cast is the mutant spy Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra (Shira Haas), the Israeli version of Steve Rogers/Captain America. Other returning MCU characters include Joaquin Torres/new Falcon (Danny Ramirez) and former super soldier Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly), both of whom appeared in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Finally paying off the setup of Marvel Comics antagonist The Leader after nearly two decades (by Captain America 4's 2024 release) has many fans especially excited about this New World Order casting. While Tim Blake Nelson is technically an existing MCU cast member, 2008 was over a decade ago, and The Incredible Hulk's status in the MCU canon has been debatable. ![]() Another interesting addition to the cast is Tim Blake Nelson's Samuel Sterns, who took the first steps to becoming the Leader in 2008's The Incredible Hulk but hasn't appeared in any other Marvel project since. These might even include the MCU debut of Red Hulk in Captain America 4. Casting a legend of cinema like Harrison Ford, best known as Indiana Jones and Han Solo, indicates Marvel has big plans for the character. ![]() Ford will be taking over from the late William Hurt in the role of General "Thunderbolt" Ross. After several months with Sam Wilson being alone in the cast, Marvel Studios revealed Captain America: New World Order would feature the Harrison Ford MCU debut. ![]()
